Facilities Operational Manager
We are currently recruiting for two Facilities Operational Managers.
Role 1 - predominantly covering Portering
Role 2 - predominantly covering Cleaning and Patient Catering
A Facilities Operational Manager typically has responsibility for a designated hospital block or site.
The role combines strategic planning with the reactive response to daily operational challenges, covering patient catering, food safety, infection control, cleaning and portering services and customer service.
If you have strong people skills and a passion for improving patient experience, with extensive experience managing healthcare facilities-related service, then this role could be your ideal next step.

Facilities Supervisor - Patient Environment
Our Facilities team provide a professional in-house specialist cleaning service and meal service for our patients. Facilities Supervisors are a vital part of the hospital team, ensuring the smooth running of our domestic and catering service so that our patients' stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our Facilities Supervisors are responsible for supervising a team of Ward Housekeepers and cleaning staff and maintaining high levels of hospital cleanliness. As a Supervisor you will:
- carry out routine cleanliness, environmental, waste disposal and food safety audits.
- Prioritise cleaning requests, undertake risk and COSHH assessments.
- Manage staff communication, appraisals, training/development, performance and absence.
- Ensure staff rotas are robust and provide the required cover for all areas
- Providing advice and support to ensure the services we provide meet the needs of patients, visitors and staff.

The Estates and Facilities Technical Development team manages non-clinical systems that support areas such as building maintenance, security, portering and catering services.
They seek a knowledgeable and experienced Technical Business Intelligence Manager to establish and grow a developing business intelligence platform, which will streamline, automate and grow the reporting capability within Estates & Facilities.
