Management Posts at LTHT

The trust employs over 16,000 people and has a budget of over £1bn. We have a wide range of managers who support our clinical services across the Trust, including our support services. We regularly advertise posts where we are looking for high quality managers to support our business.

Management at Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust

The Trust has 18 Clinical Service / Support Units (CSU) which manage either clinical, patient or support services. Each CSU is led by a senior clinician, a Clinical Director. Our General Managers are accountable to the Clinical Director and works in partnership with a Head of Profession, typically a Head of Nursing or Matron. The budgets for some CSU's are as large as budgets for smaller NHS Trusts!.

The CSU's also employ Business and Service Managers who provide day to day operationalmanagement support to our clinicians and front-line services.

As you would expect we also employ a wide range of other management posts, such as Informatics, Finance and Human Resources. All of whom support the efficient running of the Trust.

These roles attract good calibre candidates and require dedication and hard work. In return we provide on-going development and training opportunities both for individuals and our management teams.

As a Trust we are on a journey of change and improvement which will transform the way we do business, called The Leeds Way. We are clear that our business is about the care and safety of our patients and that the best way to do this is through our people. You will need to engage clinical and non-clinical staff to get results.
